There are generally several ways to bend an arc with a bending machine:
1. Use a mold:
A common method is to use a specially designed arc mold. This mold usually includes an upper mold and a lower mold. The upper mold has an arc-shaped blade, and the lower mold provides support. By adjusting the position and angle of the upper and lower molds, the arc bending operation of the plate can be achieved.
2. Use multi-segment bending:
If the CNC bending machine does not have a special arc mold, the arc shape can be approximated by multi-segment bending. Divide the entire arc into multiple small segments and perform a bending operation on each segment. By controlling the bending angle and position of each small segment, an approximate arc shape can be achieved.

3. Use special tools:
Some CNC bending machines can use special tools to achieve arc bending. These tools are usually designed according to the shape of the arc to be bent, and the arc can be formed in one bending. It should be noted that when performing arc bending, it is necessary to reasonably set the parameters according to the specific plate material, thickness, radius and other parameters, and obtain the desired arc shape through trials and adjustments.
At the same time, ensuring the rigidity and precision of the machine tool as well as the quality and adaptability of the mold or tool is also very important for obtaining high-quality arc bending effects.
